How to read an engine oil dipstick?

An engine oil dipstick is a tool utilized to measure and assess the oil level in a vehicle's engine. It typically consists of a long, slender metal rod with a handle and markings along its length. The primary purpose of the engine oil dipstick is to aid car owners or mechanics in checking the engine's oil level to ensure it has the necessary lubrication for proper functioning. If it's between two markers, it's fine. If it is below the "Low" mark, please add oil.

Note: check the color and consistency of the oil. It should be clear amber and smooth. Dirty, sandy, or creamy oils may indicate a problem.
