Excellent fit, fixed our broken running board motor problem

We have a 2012 Ford Expedition King Ranch. The running board motor on the passenger side worked sporadically, the driver's side did not work and the motor just ground away. We ordered another less expensive motor that did not have the 4 inch connecting rod (take care to see this detail) which connects the motor in front to the bar that runs to the rear running board bracket. I read reviews saying to just remove the long bar and let the cheaper motor move the running board in an out by itself. We chose to reorder this more expensive motor and bracket, and when it arrived it was an exact fit. The 4" connecting rod slides into the bar to the rear, the holes line up perfectly, and the whole thing works like a charm. Once we knew the fit was correct we ordered the Driver's side motor and bracket for a perfect fit and solution to the old motors no longer working. It took a couple of hours once we figured out the part we needed to complete the job. Shipping was fast and we received our motor and bracket in about 4 days (I ordered on Monday and had my parts in Virginia on Friday). Well-done! We are very satisfied with the product and the outcome. (Just take care not to order a cheaper version without the 4" connecting rod). Paul, Owner, Car Castle RVA, Richmond, Va
