The starter was to long compared to the original starter. This wouldn't be a issue if the dipstick tube for the transmission didn't sit right on the backside of the starter. The dipstick tube has to be removed in order to be able to swing the starter out. With the new starter being to long the dipstick tube would not be able to be reinstalled. Ended up just pulling the starter solenoid off the new starter and putting it on my old starter. Now my starter is working but just disappointed I couldn't use the whole unit. The new unit would have to be about 1 inch shorter.

I purchased a starter. Took about 1 week to come. Installed it. Starter turned over really fast almost like a race car or mini starter. That starter ended up going out in 3 days. Contacted the company and another was sent out. No complaints about the new one. Just had to do the labor over .
