AISIN Engine Valve Cover

Engine Valve Cover with Gasket for Toyota Camry 07-11 Corolla Highlander RAV4

Good service and I got it before the time expected

The description says “OEM” but the bolts were mixed with E10 and E11 sized screws. Doing the job a bolt bent and another one was shaved down to the point it had no way of going into the thread, from what i believe was the difference in size. For the BMW 435 every screw should be E10 and following the torque sequence I realized they weren’t the same sizes. I popped off a few bolts, which is very difficult and tedious, while the valve cover was seated and replaced them with my original OEM valve cover bolts thinking it would only be one or two. I got to bolt 13 and finally realized i had to undo all I did, take off the valve cover, and replace every bolt with the bolts I had from my original Valve Cover. What should have been the easiest part became the most tedious and now I am on Day 2 after giving up for the night. With the old screws on they go into the threads with no problem and i am able to use my torque wrench with the E10 socket to follow the factory recommendations. Now i do not even trust the gasket and will replace that with an OEM one. The shipping was very fast which i appreciate, came 3 days earlier than expected which is fantastic, but these bolts made my job so much harder. I hope the valve cover does its job. If you get this product make sure you have all your original bolts and a new gasket to pair along with it.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and additional time and effort caused by the mixed-size bolts and the installation difficulties you experienced. We’re also sorry that some of the bolts were damaged and that you ultimately had to reuse your original OEM bolts. We appreciate your feedback regarding the bolt specifications and torque sequence, as well as your comments about the fast shipping. We will follow up with you by email to further review this issue and assist with an appropriate resolution.

The customer support team was very helpful and resolved my issue. They were prompt, understanding and with their speedy shipping I would definitely feel comfortable ordering from here again. Very good customer service i appreciate it a lot.

These were nice. Fitment was dead on. The necessary gaskets were already installed and it came with new bolts. That was a good plus. Also, these were new parts which included the complete pcv system.
