When you schedule your routine tune-up, be sure not to neglect the radiator and heater hoses - they are integral parts of your engine's cooling system.

Radiator hose replacement

Replacing a radiator hose is a manageable DIY task for many car owners, but it's essential to do it correctly to ensure the cooling system functions properly. Refer to this step-by-step guide when you are planning to change your broken radiator hose:

  1. Prepare your workspace: Ensure your car is on a level surface and has cooled down. Have the necessary tools and a bucket ready for coolant drainage.
  2. Identify the hose: Locate the radiator hose that needs replacement. There are typically two hoses - an upper and lower one.
