What is an oil pump in a car?

An engine oil pump is a mechanical device that pumps oil through the engine to provide lubrication and cooling to its moving parts. How to replace an engine oil pump?

To replace an engine oil pump, the first step is to prepare the vehicle by ensuring it is on a flat surface and the engine is cool. It is also important to have all the necessary tools and replacement parts. The next step is to drain the engine oil and remove the oil pan, being careful not to damage the gasket, which may need to be replaced.
