The product is excellent and fits the Lexus UX 250h perfectly, all at a lower price than the OEM version... 😁 You should consider raising the price and further improving quality to enhance durability—such as by using a larger hydraulic strut capacity and a larger oil reservoir. Durability is what we really need; price isn't the main issue.

My dealership quoted me an absolute fortune for a power lift support replacement, so I decided to tackle this myself and saved $2,200 in labor costs.

The hardest part of the job isn't the mechanical swap itself; it's managing the cable routing. You do have to remove a good portion of the interior trunk trim to safely disconnect and reconnect the wiring harness. It takes some patience and time to pull the panels without breaking clips, but the actual installation of the lift support struts is straightforward.

If you are reasonably handy and have 45 mins, don't pay the shop rate. Take your time with the interior trim, and you'll save yourself a massive repair bill. Perfect fit and works just like factory!

Issue with door opening fully and lowering a foot resolved. My right strut had no visible signs of failure but was the cause. Kept left strut as backup if needed. The hardest part of installation was guiding the power back inside.
