A radiator support assembly locates cooling components and provides mounting points in the front structure. The term can describe a broad front carrier, an upper or lower tie bar, or a smaller side support. Start with the damaged section rather than assuming every assembly covers the same area.

Matching A Radiator Core Support To The Vehicle

Upper and lower pieces attach at different points, and a side support may be specific to the driver or passenger side. Body style, build origin, production date and equipment can also change the correct support on particular vehicles.

Some supports are designed for a specified radar-cruise configuration. Identify the vehicle's equipment and follow the application notes; a similar-looking opening may not provide the required sensor mounting.
