We appreciate your honest notes regarding the rear window headliner fit and the folding edges. For brand-new convertible tops, the fabric and internal tension straps are deliberately manufactured very tight to prevent sagging over time. It typically requires a short "break-in" period—leaving the top fully latched and closed under direct sunlight for a few warm days allows the material and tension cables to stretch and contour naturally, which significantly eases the folding/tucking process.
