What are spark plug wires?

When removing the wires from either the spark plug or distributor cap, it is important to loosen the connection by twisting or rotating the boot. Yanking or forcefully pulling on the wires may cause them to break. Only pull on the boot and refrain from pulling on the cable.
Install the new spark plug wire set
Install the new spark plug wires in the same location as the old wires, making sure to connect each wire to the correct spark plug. If your new spark plug wires have boots, be sure to push the boot firmly onto the spark plug until it clicks into place.
