Mud flaps, also called splash guards, mount near the wheels to help limit the water, mud and small stones thrown toward the lower body. Choose the positions you need: a set may cover the front, the rear, or both. The shape and mounting points must suit the wheel opening and the equipment already on the vehicle.

A molded, application-specific guard follows a particular body contour. A broader-fit design still needs sufficient clearance and compatible attachment points; similar width alone does not establish the fit.

What Mud Guards Help Protect

A guard behind a tire helps interrupt spray before it reaches nearby body panels. Front and rear locations cover different areas of the vehicle, so consider the area exposed to the wheel when choosing a set.

The coverage depends on the guard's shape, position and the vehicle. Mud flaps can reduce splash and debris contact, but they cannot prevent every paint chip or keep the underbody completely clean.

A-Premium Splash Guard Sets

A-Premium offers four-piece front-and-rear sets for selected vehicles. Some packages list screws or other mounting pieces; the included hardware and installation method depend on the product. A guard designed for the driver side may not match the passenger-side wheel opening.
