Dashboard Air Vent Positions: Driver, Passenger, Center, and Rear

Dashboard air vents are position-specific interior parts. Options can be made for the driver side, passenger side, center stack, rear center console, or an upper dash location. A vent from the opposite side or another console position may use a mirrored housing, different tabs, or a different surrounding trim shape even when the louvers look alike.

Full Dash Air Vent Assembly or Cover Trim?

Not every item is a complete adjustable vent. Some parts are vent cover trims or louver surrounds that restore the appearance of the dashboard but do not include the full airflow assembly. Decide whether the repair needs the movable louvers and housing or only the decorative cover. The product name and images should identify that difference before color or finish is considered.

Single Vent or Multi-Piece Dashboard AC Vent Set

Package quantity ranges from one side-specific vent to two-, three-, or four-piece sets. A multi-piece kit can cover several dashboard openings, while a single unit is intended for one location.
