BMW Fuel Vapor Leak Detection Pump

Its role is emissions-system monitoring, not engine fuel delivery. A fuel supply pump moves fuel through the fuel system; the leak detection pump is part of the vapor-system test.

Test methods vary by design. Audi describes a vacuum-driven diaphragm pump on certain Q7 vehicles that pressurizes the EVAP system and monitors pressure loss; vacuum driving the pump is different from the pressure used in that test.

Package contents depend on the part. Three listed A-Premium examples specify that a filter is not included, so check the required filter and connections for the selected application.

The connector and circuit need to match the vehicle. The collection contains both two-blade and three-blade designs, which should be selected by application rather than substituted by appearance.
