I have older cars, and with new vehicles being so expensive, repairs can get costly. My old Rav4 had a failed AC compressor, and after visiting several shops, I found that they were charging significantly more for both the part and labor. Ultimately, this brand proved to be the best alternative to OEM for high-mileage vehicles.

Direct Fit

My wife’s AC started acting up in her car. I concluded that it’s most likely the compressor. After gathering all the information to get the right part ordered, I found this site. They charged less than double compared to AutoZone. After waiting almost a week, while driving a car in this summer heat, the part came in. For reference, the car takes R134a only. So I found the part part with all the correct specs. When the part finally arrived, it ended up being a part that didn’t match the specs that were presented on the website. Now I have to wait for the part to be returned so I can get my refund and spend even longer in a vehicle with no ax in the middle of the summer. I will never use or recommend this pathetic excuse of a site for causing such an inconvenience with a mistake made from laziness.

After receiving your feedback, we conducted a technical review of the compressor you ordered and the unit that was shipped. We confirmed that the compressor is compatible with both R134a and R1234yf applications, just as the original compressor shown in your first photo is labeled for &ldquo;R134a or R1234yf.&rdquo;
The R134a label under the hood of your 2015 Kia Optima identifies the refrigerant that should be used in your vehicle&rsquo;s A/C system. It does not mean that the compressor itself must be exclusively labeled for R134a. Your vehicle should continue to use R134a as specified on the under-hood label.
However, we completely understand your concern. Our product page listed R134a, while the compressor you received was labeled R1234yf. Without additional compatibility information, those two labels understandably appeared contradictory. We should have presented this information more clearly on the product page, and we are reviewing the listing accordingly.
