- Remove old filter: Slide out the old filter, noting its airflow direction.
- Clean housing: Check for debris and clean the housing interior.
- Install new filter: Insert the new filter, ensuring the correct orientation.
- Close Housing: Carefully seal the housing, reattaching screws or fasteners.
- Test HVAC: Turn on the HVAC system to confirm improved airflow.
- Dispose of old filter: Dispose of the old filter following local regulations.
- Record replacement: Note the date and mileage for future reference.
