What is a high pressure fuel pump?

Replacement of high pressure fuel pump

Next, the necessary components must be removed to access and disconnect the pump, taking note of its orientation for proper reinstallation.

With the old pump disconnected, the new replacement unit can be installed in the original orientation, reconnecting all the electrical, fuel line, and mounting connections.
